Mr. Cox enjoys a broad commercial practice, representing financial institutions, governmental entities, and a variety of local and regional businesses. Mr. Cox brings a unique blend of both litigation and transactional expertise to complex bankruptcy, real estate, and debt restructuring situations.

Mr. Cox regularly appears in state and federal courts throughout Texas matters involving the following:

Mr. Cox was a long time contributor to the SMU Law Review's Annual Survey of Texas Law, and he has spoken at the University of Texas Bankruptcy Conference, Texas Tech Farm Ranch & Agribusiness Law Conference, and the State Bar of Texas Advanced Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Courses. He most recently spoke at the 2008 Northern District of Texas Bench-Bar Conference in Dallas.
